Pamela Anderson new PETA Ad, which says,”All Animals Have the Same Parts, Go Vegetarian” is banned in Canada as the officials in the country feel that it is some how “SEXIST AD.” Obviously Anderson was disappointed.

Pam told media,

“In a city that is known for its exotic dancing and for being progressive and edgy, how sad that a woman would be banned from using her own body in a political protest over the suffering of cows and chickens. In some parts of the world, women are forced to cover their whole bodies with burqas-is that next? I didn’t think that Canada would be so puritanical.”

While Montreal film commissioner Daniel Bissonnette said,”It is not so much controversial, as it goes against all principles public organizations are fighting for in the everlasting battle of equality between men and women.”

PETA will always come up with some controversial ads that will somehow get banned in some countries. Tell us if it’s justified banning this PETA Ad ???

"Ex Miss Universe and Bollywood actress Lara Dutta is the latest to join the Sexiest Veggies club. The actress recently posed for an ad campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
In the ad, Lara is seen in a Gavin Miguel designed full-length gown made of lettuce leaves and other vegetables. It was shot by ace fashion photographer Jatin Kampani."

The gorgeous and talented Lara Dutta has earned a degree in economics from Mumbai University, reigned as a former Miss Universe and launched a successful career as an actor, starring in films such as Blue, Housefull and Andaaz, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. How does she find the energy to accomplish so much? By choosing a vegetarian diet, of course!

Fish die as a result of slow, painful suffocation or mutilation.

Billions of these living, breathing, thinking, feeling beings – whose senses are so similar to ours – suffer and die just so that we can eat meat. Ready to follow Lara's advice and "let vegetarianism grow on you"? Why not take the Pledge to Be Veg?

Animal welfare activists have staged a n aked protest against the bearskin hats worn by Buckingham Palace guards. The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) were calling for the Queen and the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to end the "massacre of black bears". The 70 protesters, most of whom wore nothing but bear masks, claim the bears are slaughtered in Canada to make the famous headgear.

Sherlyn Chopra: Super Model turned actress Sherlyn Chopra stri**ed in front of media to protest cruelty on animals in circus. She posed for new PETA anti Circus campaign, chopra posed with chain and Whip and the punch line was "Whips and Chains Belong in the Bedroom, Not in the Circus".

Bollywood stars have also found cause to strip. Sherlyn Chopra was at her outrageous best doing a photoshoot for PETA where she was seen in hot black lingerie, complete with whips and chains.

While no one knows how successfully Sherlyn managed to convey the message that 'Whips and Chains Belong in the Bedroom and Not in the Circus', PETA certainly got the attention it was looking for.

The actress claims her love for animals is for real. "I would contribute to the cause by not wearing fur myself though I never had a fetish for fur clothing or accessories. So the next time I see fur clothing in a shopping mall, I would definitely not buy it as it is not at all fashionable wearing an animal's skin as your clothing," Sherlyn has been quoted as saying.

Living up to her movie title, actress Nargise Bagheri, who also acted in Khusti, is seen here astride a horse wearing nothing but her hair for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals’ latest campaign.

The actress joined the growing number of stars like Rakhi Sawant (tigers)and Sherlyn Chopra to protest against cruelty to animals.

In Nargise’s case, it is horses, who are made to pull heavy carts laden with goods, and sometimes people, in the case of joy rides.

Nargise’s message is this: ‘Don’t get taken for a ride; horse drawn carts are cruel and outdated and should be relegated to the history books’.
