The producer who brought us serious films such as Page 3, Fashion and Chandni Bar has decided to lighten things up by making a comedy flick! After educating audiences about hard-hitting issues that people face, filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar now wants to make his audience laugh. His latest project, Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji starring Ajay Devgan, is suppose to bring a lot of laughter to audiences. The movie is about celebrating the new face of love with old tricks.

Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji follows three men; Naren, Milind and Abhay. Naren is quite an ordinary manager at a multinational bank until the day he meets June, falls in love with her and decides to change his look in order to become more attractive for his crush.

Milind is also looking for the love of his life. He works for a matrimonial Web site and soon meets Gungun, a DJ for a radio station who dreams of becoming an actress.

Abhay is a little bit different from his two friends in that he doesn't have a qualified job but works at a gym as a trainer. In his spare time he loves to meet women.

Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji follows these three men in their life and search for love. It has been described as very relatable to people but adds a funny twist to its characters' love lives.

"What I really like about his [Madhur Bhandarkar] movies is that women in his movies are not just a pretty picture in the frame. He makes all the characters in his movie important. When I was given the offer to be a part of this movie, I just said 'YES' without bothering to know what my role is going to be. I know that whatever he makes me do in this movie, I will have an identity and the character will be worth working on," Shraddha Das told reporters.

The trailer showcases people tackling love issues. The film also stars Emraan Hashmi, Amisha Patel, Omi Vaidya and Jiah Khan. Ajay Devgan plays the role of Naren, a man who has gone through a divorce and now is in search for new love. Emraan Hashmi plays Abhi, a flirt who wants love, sex and money. Omi Vaidya is a sweet and simple girl who is in search for true love. We have seen Bhandarkar do a great job addressing serious issues; let's see how good he is at bringing us humor!

Dil To Bacha Hai Ji Movie first look, story, preview

Bollywood actors Ajay Devgan and Emraan Hashmi unveiled the first look of 'Dil To Bacha Hai Ji' here over the weekend.

Directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, The film stars Ajay Devgn, Amisha Patel, Emraan Hashmi, Jiah Khan and Omi Vaidya.

Bhandarkar said he had moved away from making serious cinema and that this time he has tried his hand at comedy.

" 'Dil To Bacha Hai Ji' is a slice of life, a different cinema. My cinema has always been hard hitting and real. This is also real but comedy as well. The whole genre of this movie is comedy. This is a slice of life and everybody will relate to this subject," said Bhandarkar.

Devgan described the movie as a romantic comedy and added that people from all age groups will connect with it.

"It's a nice romcom (romantic and comedy) with which I think every youth and people from all age groups will identify. It's a kin of comedy, which happens, in everybody's real life but we don't laugh on it. So, I think it's a different kind of genre," he said.

'Dil To Bacha Hai Ji' is a tale of three men and their encounters with love.

Hashmi said the tagline of the movie is appropriate, as it highlights that men usually don't grow up and remain immature.

"The tagline of the movie 'Dil To Bacha Hai Ji' emphasises on men that they generally don't grow up. It's an apt tagline for the movie. Generally men don't grow up. I think women become mature at an early stage. Men grow up to the age of 30-35 but still remain immature," said Hashmi.

"So, it is an apt tagline. The story is based on three men who are in the age group of 30, 35 and 39 but still they are struggling with love, with their relationships," he added.

Pritam Chakraborty has composed the music of the movie.

The movie is slated to hit the theatres on January 28.
